About Mackers Self Catering Cottages & Glamping
The Mackers Team extend a warm welcome to you!
At Mackers we offer 3 self-catering Cottages high above the forests and 10 AfriCamps luxury boutique glamping tents on the banks of the Sabie River. These two facilities are run independently and separately.
Apart from the variety of exciting and adrenalin-filled attractions in the area, the sights and sounds at Mackers are sure to win you over. Hear the Bush Babies and Owls at night from the comfort of your fully equipped self- catering accommodation.
We are perfectly positioned to spend at least a day in the Kruger National Park spotting the Big 5,or driving along the Panorama Route experiencing the breathtaking scenery. God’s Window, 3 Rondavels, Bourke’s Luck potholes and the Blyde River Canyon are all spectacular sights worth a visit. We will gladly arrange tours for both routes.
Cottages
Our 3 Bird Hide Cottages are ideal for a gathering of 8 people. Get your friends and family together and bond at this hidden gem - book massages, have a bon fire under the canopy of stars and make beautiful memories.
Our Cottages are nestled among indigenous bush teeming with birdlife on top of the hill.
Please Note: There is no swimming pool, air-conditioners or televisions at the cottages.
Glamping
AfriCamps Boutique tents are on the banks of the Sabie river, reconnecting you with nature, where you will not be troubled by the daily sounds of normal life.
